TACCA Greater Houston held their fishing tournament at the April Fool Point Marina in San Leon TX on July 20th. The annual tournament had over 30 boats compete, which is a great turnout for a summer fishing tournament. Early morning fishing brought in big Reds and Trouts to the weigh in. The guides and fishermen and women reported catching a large variety of fish throughout the morning. Guided and non-guided boats as well as wade fishing were all a part of the fun. A great fish and shrimp lunch was served with all the side fixings. Tournament awards were given to first, second and third place teams, as well as biggest redfish. The tournament day ended with raffle tickets sold “by the pull” and some great prizes given out. Thank you to all of the participants and sponsors for making this another great success!
