The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation proposes amendments to an existing rule at 16 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 60, Subchapter B, §60.22, General Powers and Duties of the Department and the Executive Director. The proposed amendments address the issuance of emergency licenses during a state of disaster by making permanent the emergency rule adopted by the Commission on May 6, 2021, and published in the May 28, 2021, issue of the Texas Register (46 TexReg 3329).

The proposed rule was published in the June 4, 2021, issue of the Texas Register (46 TexReg 3486). The Department will accept comments on the proposal until July 5, 2021.
